Roosevelt Ridge is a gated community located in the City of Black Hawk, Colorado (Gilpin County), roughly 80 minutes northwest of metro Denver, about five minutes off the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway, in the Timberline Fire Protection District and the Boulder Valley School District.
Roosevelt Ridge — elevation 9,000 to 9,800 feet above sea level — sits high in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, abutting Roosevelt National Forest on three sides, about 10 miles from the Continental Divide. Over 500 acres of the 556-acre community are subject to a conservation easement, which means the native beauty of the land shall be preserved “in perpetuity.”
